VDLP 2013: The Scoop on Merida

So right next to the Museu de Artes Romanos is the Visitor Center. Hooray!

I got a map in English and the lady gave all the info I needed for my two day visit

Tues-Sat. 9:30am - 8:00 pm
Sun. 10 am - 3:00 pm
Closed Sunday afternoon and all day Monday
Tickets: 3 euros, FREE pensioners & students with I.D., FREE Saturdays from 2 pm and Sunday mornings.

Single entrance ticket good for all day or for both Sunday and Monday : 12 euros
Gets you into all attractions.

Reduced Ticket. 6 euros
It states only for EEC citizens but I just showed my Tarjeta Dorado (5 euros at Renfre) and he gave me the discount.

The Visigoth Art Museum was a wash in my opinion. Everything I saw there, I also saw at the first museum.

I saw a choo choo that takes you on a tour around Merida. My experience is that these are worth the 4-5 euros just to get a good circular tour.

I guess that is it!
