Day 17 - Sarria to Portomarin

We had a very foggy start but by 10 am the sun began breaking through.
I have walked the Camino three times in the Fall and thus is the coolest September I've seen.

The highlight of the day was the 'fogbow' we saw as the sun rose.
The rest of the day was a joyful walk.

but are not quite ready to go it alone,

Day 16 - Samos to Sarria

To me, this is one of the most
beautiful sections on the Camino.

We passed this tiny chapel and took a peek inside. This is what we saw. It was about 12 x 12 feet.

Samos to Sarria

Everyone has a favorite part of the Camino and for me,
it is the section between Samos and Sarria.
To experience the lush green beauty of the hills,
the ancient stone walls, to hear the birds and river singing,
and smell the wild roses... It's just magical for me.

Calming.

I could walk it a million times and not grow tired of it.

The ensuite apartment rooms in Sarria were quite nice!
