Through O Cebreiro and on to Sarria 2009

Here are some of the things we saw between O Cebreiro and Sarria
in 2006 and 2009:

We left before sunrise

Beautiful Green Valleys Below Us

Some of these trees are over 300 years old

I think every pilgrim who has walked the Camino has this photo!

If you look closely, you will see this rock is carved.  With what?

We walked into this shelter hoping to rest, but what we found was disgusting! Please do NOT leave your filthy toilet paper on the Camino!

Old millstones from the nearby water mill

More GREEN!

Another use for mill stones

I have a strange fondness for cemeteries

It was interesting to see these natural slate shingles

Slate shingled house

Some interesting graffiti

There are many shady lanes like this one

Lunch in Samos

This wagon is still in use. Look at the wheels.

Water Mill House

Little abuela sweeping the street. Seconds later, a tractor flew by!
