Woke up this morning and the bar in Hostal Don Suero was closed. It is Sunday!
But...a half block away and across the street was the little bar where we had our dinner last night and the light was on inside, welcoming business.
The lady was busy at the stove preparing the morning tortilla and the minute it popped onto the plate she cut us two generous portions, still steaming. It was simple, just potatoes and eggs, but delicious and filling and much more nutritious than pastry.
The cost? 1,50 euros
That and a cup of coffee and I'm ready to start the day!
