More Food Prices

Today we are in Zaragosa for two nights and so we went shopping and here is what we spent

Mixed Salad ready to go. This is enough for two people to have a huge dinner salad. It has tomatoes lettuce carrots olives corn in it. We will add hard-boiled eggs and it will make a big dinner salad and the price was 1.88 Euro

10 instant coffee packets. .90
That is less than you pay for one cup of coffee at the bar. Not as good, but good in a pinch for emergencies.

Pumpkin seeds. 1.70 E

Three baguettes for E1.10

I like to carry these sticks of sugar for my coffee. There were 50 sticks in this box for E1.15
I’ll put a handful in my backpack and leave the rest of the apartment for the next people

We are eating lots of yogurt. Joe got this big 1Kg container of yogurt for E2.10

1 baguette E.45

It’s good to carry a salami like this in your pack if you’re walking the Camino, just in case you get to a place and there is no food. E 1.50

I like these little packets of butter so the butter doesn’t melt in my pack they were a dozen here for E 1.45

Chips E1.00

I’m in love with arroz con Leche
4 for E1.05

Mackerel in sauce  .90

Half Dozen Eggs E1.50

Tuna in olive oil (for our salad) E1.35

Cashews E1.65

We had midday food at a Sirian restaurant. We split a huge plate with chicken, hummus, fried potatoes, salad, onion, pita bread and the total price of it was €9.50. So that was only 4.50 each

I will post a photo of their card in case you are in Zaragoza  and would like to try it. It was a really nice clean restaurant and the food was good.

Now we are back in the apartment finishing up laundry and resting. This afternoon we are going to go see the Roman Port and Forum.
